Liberty Eagle Academy announced a significant expansion in its education offering, receiving the highest accreditation ranking of ‘Accredited With Quality’ by the Georgia Accreditation Commission for its high school. The accreditation of Liberty Eagle’s high school program follows earlier years’ accreditation of the elementary and middle school programs.
Liberty Eagle Academy was founded in 2016 by Drs. Anna and Brent Harris, creating the concept of ‘Modern Montessori’, which blends Montessori with Traditional Education methods. The success of the curriculum incorporates concepts as Project Based Learning, Digital Learning, STEM, and Life skills, all which attracts parents and their student children. Dr. Anna Harris along with Headmaster Dr. John Wilborn and the Liberty Eagle Teachers expanded the curriculum to add High School this current school year. This week, the Accrediting Commission was impressed with the facility, staff and its prepared curriculum and expanded Liberty’s “Accreditation with Quality” from Kindergarten through High School.
Liberty Eagle Academy’s campus offers its Modern Montessori teaching to preschool aged children (Infant through Primary) and school aged children (Kindergarten through 12th grade). Liberty Eagle is the only Montessori based education in West Georgia that offers both preschool and school age studies through 12th grade.
