The Cozy Bistro Bringing More Vietnamese Fare to Newnan

The owners of Cozy Nails & Spa are bringing Newnan some Vietnamese fare by way of the Cozy Bistro right around the corner!

Owner Mimi Psam comes from a family of restaurateurs, and she noticed,“[O]n the weekend [when the nail shop is busy] some customers go and grab some lunch or drink while they wait for us;” so she thought why not open a restaurant with the convenience of its being right next door.

The bistro plans to serve lunch and dinner and will offer traditional Vietnamese dishes including pho, noodles, egg rolls, barbeque, and a selection of beer and wine. Mimi has cooked for some of her long-time customers and says they are most looking forward to her “egg rolls… they really love [them].”

Because of the convenience of the bistro’s being so close to the nail salon Mimi hopes that customers will come in for the whole experience – nail salon and then the bistro for some good food and wine.

“We thought we could open around October, [but] it’s taking a little bit longer than we expected,” she says. Customers can hope for a late October or early November opening. She is excited to open and start cooking for the Newnan community.

The location, at 300 Bullsboro Drive, was previously home to Kool Bean & Roly Poly.
