A regional restaurant chain is planning to cozy up the look and feel of its Carrollton location. The City Menus recently discovered major renovation plans for Jack’s Family Restaurant, located at 1190 North Park Street near the intersection with Georgia Highway 113. According to the documents, the entire exterior facade and interior public spaces will get a major overhaul. On the outside the brick and stucco will be removed and replaced with a stone wall on the bottom and board-and-batten on top.
The existing shrubbery around the building will be removed and replaced with a front-porch style walkway. Inside the entire dining area will be demolished from top to bottom and everything will be replaced from the flooring and ceiling to the cabinets and tables. Additionally, a faux fireplace with a TV over it, similar to the one you can see at the Bremen location, will also be constructed.
The restrooms will be renovated as well. The corporate office is accepting bids until October 25, so there is no word on when work will begin or what the operating hours will be for drive-thru service once construction commences. Stay tuned to The City Menus for more information as it becomes available.
