Garden-Themed Gift Shop Hosts Grand Opening in Carrollton

Your local State Farm agent, Jill Pierce, shows her admiration for the Carrollton community once again. Last week she opened her latest business endeavor, garden, in the town she calls home. The small shoppe will feature garden-themed art created by local artists and other odds and ends supplied by small businesses.

“My daughter and I started talking about doing this 8 years ago and began collecting fun stuff.  I decided this summer we would give it a try”

Pierce adds that her shop, although spring-new, is ever-evolving into something “fun and funky” every day. She resells odds and ends she finds, adorning the shelves and display cases with various plants, which are also for sale to those who love anything green.

In addition to green plants, fresh flower bouquets, and eclectic gifts, the shop will have legos-by-the-scoop as well as other toys available for sale. Behind the showroom, an empty back room will host art classes and painting parties.

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce was on hand to celebrate the opening with a Ribbon Cutting this past Thursday!

The new shop is located at Maple Street Commons in Carrollton next to Sole Roots Running Co.
