In 2019 we received word that QT was eyeing an area in Newnan for a second location. At that time a representative from QuikTrip Media Relations confirmed that the chain did have plans to build a new location on Poplar Road.

Now four years later construction plans have been submitted to Coweta County for a new fueling station to be constructed at the corner of Poplar Road and Newnan Crossing Bypass. Prior to the pandemic, Hat Creek Burgers had submitted plans for this same area but canceled them in 2022.

An estimated start date for construction on the project has not yet been announced; however, surveyors have been present over the last couple of weeks. The new fueling center will be located in the same area as the new Express Oil Change.

In other news, a BP/AMOCO is also planned for the area to the right of Express Oil Change.
