PENSACOLA, Fla. – Airman Ty Goodreau, a native of Douglasville, Georgia, serves the U.S. Navy assigned to Aviation Enlisted Aircrew Training School.
Goodreau graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 2023.
The skills and values needed to succeed in the Navy are similar to those found in Douglasville.
“Growing up, I learned to ask for help when available,” said Goodreau. “There is always help available in the Navy, you just have to ask.”
Goodreau joined the Navy five months ago.
“I joined the Navy because I wanted to fly, just to be up in the air,” said Goodreau. “Being in the Navy gives me better discipline for myself.”
