Plans under review for Whataburger in Sharpsburg

Fischer Marketplace is seeing a tremendous mix of restaurants. With the additions of Miller’s Ale House, Gusto, Andy’s Frozen Custard, and La Parilla, another favorite is proposed for the area. Plans for Whataburger were submitted to Coweta County. The proposed fast food restaurant with a cult-like following will be located between the Gusto/Andy Custard’s development and La Parrilla.

Whataburger opened its first Coweta County location on August 9 in Newnan.

The restaurant’s menu is diverse with offerings including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and fries; but the eatery also offers a breakfast menu which is served 11:00 P.M. until 11:00 A.M. and  includes taquitos, biscuits, pancakes, bowls, cinnamon rolls, and more!

Whataburger has in their recent Atlanta-area openings opened their drive-thru initially and then a few weeks later opened their dining room as well.  This will likely continue to occur as the chain expands locally. That said, nearly all Whataburger restaurants are open 24/7!

The  San Antonio-based chain has Texas-sized aspirations of having 50 new Whataburger restaurants opening in Georgia by 2030.
