Bread & Butter Reopens Boutique in Fall of 2023

Two lifelong best friends have brought their boutique shop, Bread & Butter, into the Peachtree City bubble. The shop was originally located at Southern Charm in downtown Newnan before moving into Heirloom Market. After the fire destroyed Heirloom Market, Stephanie Philips and Katie Philips, co-owners of the boutique, were determined to renew their vision and said to each other, “Okay, let’s just start literally driving around;” and so they started looking.

They found the perfect space to be Bread & Butter’s new home, right next to The Curious Pig. “We drove down Huddleston and we…were like ‘That’s it, that’s the one,’” establishing their new location in the Peachtree City community at 118 Huddleston Road.

“This town is great. It’s home base for us. We’ve been here for a little over 10 years, and it welcomes new businesses, but it’s still like resolute to stay in the bubble,” Katie says.

Before you ask, no they do not sell actual bread and butter; but the boutique does offer a large variety of items. “We have a little bit of everything. We definitely have a lot of home decor. We have gifts, we have shoes, we have jewelry; we have a lot of athleisure [and] we’re starting to branch off and get more apparel,” says Stephanie.

“We do have a butter dish. We do have one,” Stephanie adds with a laugh.

Katie elaborates, “The goal is that anyone for any age could find something.”

The boutique fills a small white house. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, feeling as though you’re walking into a good friend’s home. “Sometimes when you go into a boutique you can afford maybe one item…and we don’t want that to be the case here. We want you to be able to come in and pick out a few things, and it feels affordable, yet still nice.”

Bread & Butter had their grand opening on September ninth, but keep a lookout on Facebook or Instagram for events, new apparel, discounts, and more. Visit them Tuesday – Friday 10:00 A. M. to 5:00 P. M. and Saturday 10:00 A. M. to 7:00 P. M. at 118 Huddleston Road, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269.
