In a display of support for education and community development, the Carrollton Dawnbreakers Rotary has given $25,000 to further enhance and support the current endowment for the University of West Georgia’s Richards College of Business. This gift, a testament to the Carrollton Dawnbreakers Rotary Club’s dedication to empowering the next generation of leaders, will have a lasting impact on students and faculty.
The Carrollton Dawnbreakers Rotary Club is comprised of strong leaders in Carrollton who serve their local community. President of the Carrollton Dawnbreakers, Jessica Ainsworth ’06 ’16, shared her excitement about this continued partnership with UWG.
“We are deeply committed to supporting education and professional development in our community,” said Ainsworth. “We could share this support because of our annual Casino Night fundraiser. We believe that investing in UWG is an investment in the future of our community.”
This gift will continue contributing to the established endowment and ensure students have access to the resources they need to succeed in their academic and professional journeys.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Carrollton Dawnbreakers Rotary club for their generous donation,” said Allyson Bretch ’14, interim vice president for university advancement and interim CEO of UWG’s philanthropic foundations. “This support will greatly enhance the educational experience for our students, empowering them to reach new heights. Partnerships like this truly elevate UWG as a first-choice university for students seeking a transformative educational experience. As a member of Dawnbreakers, I am honored and grateful for the continued support of UWG and the outstanding work of our club.”
