WHAT: The University of West Georgia will host a celebration to announce UWG’s national recognition as Campus of the Year by the Institute for Well-Being, a pioneering center dedicated to enhancing holistic support for health.
WHEN: Thursday, May 16, 2024, 11:30 a.m. – noon

WHO: The event will feature remarks from UWG leadership, including Dr. Brendan Kelly, UWG president, and Bridgette Stewart, UWG chief wellness officer, followed by a Q&A and refreshments.
WHY: One of the key ways UWG fosters a sense of belonging and connectedness is through resources designed to enhance the wellness of students, faculty and staff, and the greater community. This critical work has now been recognized on the national level, as UWG has been named Campus of the Year by the Institute of Well-Being.
