The LaGrange Fire Department is hosting it’s 2024 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Wednesday, September 11th, at 8:30 a.m. at Callaway Stadium, 801 Dallis Street.
The public is invited to join the LaGrange Fire Department for the 2024 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. The entry fee is $25, cash or check only. You may register on the day of the event at 8:00 a.m. A limited amount of T-
shirts will be available. All proceeds will benefit the Terry Farrell Firefighter Fund.
Participants climb or walk the equivalent of 110 stories, or 2,200 steps, to symbolize the height of the World Trade Center Towers and the firefighters’ journey of approximately 2,200 steps, which is equivalent to 110 flights of stairs in the Twin Towers.
