Ring in the new season big-band style with the Carrollton Jazz Orchestra’s Fall Concert, November 1 at the Carrollton Center for the Arts.
“The CJO plays something for everyone,” said the CJO’s pianist, Terry Lowry. “If you are new to jazz and big band music, we promise you will have a fantastic time as we introduce you to this great American art form. If you are a hard core jazz fan, our players will knock your socks off!”
The Carrollton Jazz Orchestra performs classics by heavyweights like Buddy Rich, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Thad Jones and music commissioned expressly for the group.
The show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth and are available online at carrolltonarts.com, by phone at 770-838-1083 and at the center’s box office at 251 Alabama Street in Carrollton.
