Friends of Carrollton GreenBelt and Keep Carroll Beautiful invite community members to participate in the annual Great GreenBelt Cleanup on Saturday, March 15, 2025. This event provides an opportunity for volunteers to help preserve the natural beauty of the GreenBelt while contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
Registered volunteers will be able to pick up their cleanup supply packages at East Carrollton Park — the metal pavilion, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event. An early pickup will be available on Friday, March 14th, at the KCB office at 213 Bradley Street during business hours, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. To participate, individuals must register in advance by completing the online form. Members of the Adopt-A-Trail program may choose to clean their designated section or select a different area for this special cleanup day.
Participants should dress appropriately by wearing closed-toe shoes and long pants for safety. They are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, as water fountains will be available along the GreenBelt. While trash bags and latex gloves will be provided, volunteers may bring their own work or garden gloves for added comfort.
Friends of Carrollton GreenBelt and Keep Carroll Beautiful encourage all residents to take part in this initiative to help maintain and protect this valued community space.
