Arbor Day Celebration 2024
The City of LaGrange will host its annual Arbor Day Celebration Friday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. in Jones Street Park, 131 Jones Street.
There will be an annual tree planting and a short program. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Theta Xi Omega Chapter, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Theta Nu Lambda Chapter purchased one of the trees as part of their service project to the community. Members of both chapters will be on hand to participate in the planting.
Arbor Day is a holiday that encourages everyone to plant and care for trees. The City of LaGrange has been recognized as a Tree City USA Community for 24 years.
