End of an Era: Merle Norman in Carrollton to Close Its Doors After 60 Years

After six decades of beauty, friendship, and community, Merle Norman in Carrollton, Georgia, will be closing its doors for the final time on May 1, 2025.

In a heartfelt message shared on their Facebook page, longtime owner Pam Almon expressed her deep gratitude to customers and friends who have supported the studio over the years. “I’ve personally seen generations come through these doors,” she wrote. “It’s been a privilege to be a part of your lives.”

The store has become more than a local beauty spot—it’s been a familiar fixture in the community, where relationships were built alongside makeovers and makeup consultations. Many will miss not just the quality Merle Norman products but also the personal touch and warm interactions that made this location so special.

Customers are encouraged to stop by before the closing date to stock up on their favorite Merle Norman products. In addition to cosmetics, the boutique is also offering sales on clothing, jewelry, and more, making it a perfect time for a final visit.

As Pam signs off with a heartfelt “thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” it’s clear that while the store may be closing, the memories and connections made there will last a lifetime.
