Keep Carroll Beautiful Celebrates 20 Years of Environmental Impact with Community Open House and Student Art Show

Keep Carroll Beautiful turned 20 on Earth Day, April 22, and is inviting the community to join in the celebration on Thursday, May 8, during a special 20th Birthday Open House.

The open house will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Keep Carroll Beautiful office, 213 Bradley Street, Carrollton. Guests can enjoy light refreshments, meet the KCB team, and explore two decades of impact in litter prevention, recycling, and environmental education across Carroll County.

Special Feature: The event will also showcase a quilt from the Great Depression Quilts permanent collection of the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum—a piece of history honoring sustainability and resourcefulness.

This will also be your last chance to view Central High School’s Recycled Art Show, featuring creative works made entirely from recycled materials by Art Club students.

The event is open to the public. Whether you’ve volunteered, donated, or just want to learn more, Keep Carroll Beautiful welcomes you to join the celebration and look ahead to the next 20 years of service.
