Six Flags Over Georgia has announced that Holiday in the Park will not return for the 2025 season.
Chris Foshee, Regional Manager of Public Relations, shared the following statement: “After careful consideration and extensive review of our evolving business needs, we have decided to discontinue Holiday in the Park this year and focus our efforts on enhancing the guest experience during our core operating season, when the majority of our guests visit the park.”
While the holiday event will no longer be part of the seasonal lineup, the park has plans to roll out other fall activities. The full calendar will be released soon.
Fright Fest will return on weekends from September 13 through November 2. Starting November 9, Six Flags will debut a new event called Heroes Fest, celebrating both well-known characters and everyday heroes from the local community. The park will remain open on weekends and Black Friday through November 30.
