City of LaGrange Employee Kappy Cummings Honored for 25 Years of Dedicated Service

The City of LaGrange honored LaGrange Employee Kappy Cummings for her 25 years of dedicated service at the recent City Council meeting. (11/11)

Cummings is currently the Customer Service Manager, where she ensures that customers receive outstanding service, bills are processed accurately, and her team operates smoothly and efficiently. 

Cummings’ career began in 1992, when she earned her Certificate in Accounting from West Georgia Technical College. Before joining the City of LaGrange, she worked as a Head Teller at Flag Bank and as a Receptionist at Signal Apparel. 

She joined the City of LaGrange in November 2000 as a Customer Service Representative. Through hard work, dedication, and strong leadership, she was promoted to Billing Clerk in 2019. She was promoted to her current position as Customer Service Manager in 2022. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence have made her an essential part of the Customer Service team.

Cummings is the eldest of four children born to Harry and Judy Grey. She is the proud mother of two sons, Reginald and Rashad, and the loving grandmother of Preston and Jakari. On November 12th, she will joyfully welcome her third grandchild, a new granddaughter. Kappy is currently enjoying life with her partner, Adrian Williams.
