Little Southern Home Marketplace Begins a New Chapter + New Name Under New Ownership

Little Southern Home Marketplace, a locally loved vendor marketplace rooted in community and creativity, is entering a new chapter. After three meaningful years, founder Cari has announced that the storefront will transition to new ownership and a new name while she steps into retirement to focus on family and personal time.

This decision came after much thought and prayer. While the change carries mixed emotions, Cari is looking forward to traveling with her husband and spending time with her family, especially her young grandson and another grandson arriving soon.

Since opening in January 2023, Little Southern Home Marketplace was created with a clear vision of supporting small businesses and building a welcoming space for local vendors and customers alike. With the trust of her vendors and the loyalty of the community, that vision became a thriving marketplace filled with creativity and connection.

Over the years, customers became more than shoppers. Many became friends. Cari remains deeply grateful to everyone who chose to shop local for gifts, everyday finds, and special moments. Their support shaped the store into what it became and made the journey truly special.

As the marketplace moves forward under new ownership and a new name, customers are encouraged to continue supporting the store by following Hometown Marketplace Newnan and meeting the new owner. The heart of the marketplace and its commitment to small businesses will continue.

Although Cari is stepping away from daily storefront ownership, she will continue offering her products both in store and online. These include hand poured natural soy candles, laundry soap, goat milk soaps and lotions, fresh clean soaps, and select accessories. She also welcomes continued connection through the Little Southern Home Facebook and Instagram pages.
