Beignets & Brew Under New Ownership

Beignets & Brew in Peachtree City is entering an exciting chapter as they are under new, local ownership. Co-owners and friends for over 10 years, Andrew Walker and Shahzad Pirani are aiming to curate a “fresh vibe and a focus on bringing the community back…” and to start they are planning an upcoming Mardi Gras-themed Block Party.

Customers can look forward to that party on Valentine’s day, Saturday, February 14 and can expect live jazz, seasonal beignets, and kids’ activities throughout the day.

Located in The Avenue Shopping Center across from Trader Joe’s, Beignets & Brew, a Destin-based franchise inspired by the confections of Cafe Du Monde, specializes in beignets, a French-style donut made with light, layered dough, but “[i]t’s a little different,” Andrew says. “It’s not your traditional donut, and that’s part of what makes it fun.” Making various types of beignets—from cinnamon sugar beignets, nutella beignets, and even turtle beignets, beignets covered in caramel, cream cheese drizzle, chocolate, and topped with pecans. While the classic New Orleans-style beignet remains a staple, the café also offers seasonal and themed variations, including the current Mardi Gras-inspired options—king cake beignets, king cake latte, and even a traditional king cake available for purchase for a limited time.

They also serve various coffees ranging from drip to cafe au lait, or even a citrus brew which is cold brew with fresh lemonade. As well as specialty drinks like the biscoff cookie butter latte or the limited time strawberry white mocha. During the day, or after dinner, customers can also stop by for various beers and cocktails.

When asked about their favorite menu items, Andrew and Shahzad agree, “the strawberry coconut power fizz,” a cleaner, plant-based energy drink, powered by the Lotus plant.

Andrew and Shahzad are placing a strong emphasis on community outreach and events. From local night markets and Drake Field gatherings to catering and sponsorship opportunities, they want Beignets & Brew to feel like a true neighborhood spot: the perfect place for an after-brunch sweet, a weekday study session, or an evening nightcap.

The owners expressed gratitude, especially to family and the Peachtree City community, for their support during this transition.

Find them at The Avenue open Sunday – Thursday 700 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday –  Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
