Arts Center Announces New Perfomance/Exhibition Season

Season tickets are now available for the performances and special events of the Carrollton Center for the Arts’ 2026-2027 schedule.

“We hope everyone will join us for another great season of the arts,” said Center for the Arts Manager Tim Chapman. “We have three different types of season ticket packages to appeal to a variety of different patrons, but all with affordable pricing.”

Chapman said purchasing season tickets saves 20 percent off the face value of tickets and guarantees seats to sold-out performances. Current season ticket holders can renew, beginning July 6 through July 17. New season ticket sales begin July 20 through August 7. Individual event ticket sales begin August 10. Center for the Arts membership packages can also be purchased. Season tickets can be ordered by phone at (770) 838-1083 or purchased in person at the Center for the Arts at 251 Alabama Street.

Professional touring acts featured this season include; the Georgia State Defense Force Band, August 29; singer/songwriter legend Larry Gatlin, September 29; Mariachi Divas, October 30; Abe Partridge with Jack Barksdale, January 8; Sigmon Theatrical’s Check-In for Murder, January 23 and Travis LeDoyt’s Elvis: Tribute to the King, February 26.

The new season will feature three Carroll County Community Theatre productions: Murder on the Orient Express, September 18 – 20; Holmes for the Holidays, December 4 – 6 and Sister Act, March 12 – 14 and March 19 – 21.

The Carroll County Community Chorus will present Christmas in Carrollton, December 11 – 12,  and Fly Me to the Moon – Spring Concert, April 2 – 3.

The Carrollton Jazz Orchestra returns with their CJO Fall Concert, November 6; A Swingin’ Christmas with the CJO, December 17 and Spring Jazz Concert, April 17.

The Carrollton Wind Ensemble will perform its Fall Concert, October 17; Christmas Concert, December 15 and Spring Concert, April 30.

The Carroll Symphony Orchestra’s Winter Masterworks Concert will be performed February 5. 

The Nutcracker Ballet returns to the arts center stage November 20 – 22.

The Carrollton Center for the Arts season will also feature a series of art exhibitions including: Pow! Bam! Remember When comic book art show, through July 20; Studio Practice: UWG Faculty Showcase, July 30 – September 4; Works by Selected University of West Georgia Artists, August 10 – September 17; Reduce, Reuse, Reimagine, September 17 – October 26; School Arts, September 28 – October 22; Drug Addiction: Real People, Real Stories, November 5 – December 14; Alabama Astronaut, January 7 – February 15; Kiwanis High School Art and Music Showcase, January 19 – February 25; Embodied: Contemporary Takes on the Dress, February 25 – April 5; AP and IB Students, March 1 – April 2; A Touch of Art, April 15 – May 24; When Communities Collide: Sweetwater Camera Club Birds, Butterflies and Beautiful Cars, April 15 – May 24 and Art and Poetry Collaboration, June 14 – July 16.

The Carrollton Artist Guild’s Small Packages Exhibition, featuring works that fit within a cubic foot of space and a selection of the Carrollton Writers’ Guild members’ work, returns, November 2 – December 14.

The Arts Festival of Carrollton will once again welcome more than 60 visual artists from across the United States, October 10 – 11.

A luncheon with author Kimberly Belle, September 24, and the Susan Hayward tribute film, Soldier of Fortune, January 3, join Mountainfilm On Tour film festival, January 2, on the center’s special events calendar.
