RPM is a place that will remind you of a restaurant that could be found on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives. The atmosphere is unique; you will find people from their 70s to young couples with children. Though there is a kids’ menu, I don’t consider RPM to be “kid” friendly. For me, RPM is a cool hang out with good food. The wait staff was very friendly and made excellent recommendations. For an appetizer the homemade pretzels are excellent. They have just the right amount of salt and butter and come with two dipping sauces, a spicy ground mustard and a jalapeño cheddar.. For an entrée I would recommend the Rueben and onion rings (order the half Rueben). The Rueben is piled high with pastrami and an exceptional sauerkraut that has a vinegar taste that takes the Rueben to the next level. The burgers are also a solid choice with house fries or tater tots. I did order some wings, which were big and juicy. I went against the recommendation of the waitress, and the flavor I chose was awful (the waitress did recommend two other ones), so stick to the recommendations of the serving staff for wing flavors. Beer selection is above average with several craft brews and a couple of local brews as well. Overall a good experience! Just picture an old service station, renovated with several large TVS, outside seating, and a unique vibe with good food. Hint: They also have free Pac Man and Galicia. I would go back but without kids and take friends for a relaxing night of fun and elevated bar food. Overall: 3.9 out of 5 and $$
