Charlotte firm, North Star Villages LLC are preparing to build a massive 15 million dollar 160 unit residential complex off 1321 Lovvorn Rd. Site work is being completed now and then the massive building should be constructed soon. According to property records it was rezoned in 2010 for the project. More details will be announced soon. 9/23 Update : Just had a wonderful conversation with the developer of the new massive student housing project going on off Lovvorn Road near the Stadium. The developer told me it will be purpose built like The Grove and will lease only to students, Sophomore and above. Leasing will begin fall of 2014. Ground breaking has begun. They will also have preserved wetlands around the complex. Flooding will not be an issue. Renderings and art work of the new complex will be released in 90 days to the public.
