The Farmers Cupboard opened on July 5th of 2011 in the newly renovated shopping center behind the Square in Carrollton. At one time Sears shared this location with the probation office. The Farmers Cupboard was a Colonial Stores/ Big Star, then Food Outlet. The Farmers Cupboard offered a wide range of organic products when first opened. About a year or so ago the selection decreased with more of a focus on Craft Beers, Wines, Fresh Produce, and dry foods. They also expanded their full service lunch menu and recently started offering breakfast. Unfortunately The Farmers Cupboard privately announced their closing last week to a select few. The Carrollton Menu respects the privacy of all individuals involved. We wish the very best for the future of everyone involved with this beautiful store. The Cotton Mill Farmers Market is held in the parking lot each Saturday till noon. Also Farmers Fresh CSA offers a lunch each day on The Square next to the Irish Bred Pub.
