Verizon Wireless Proposes Tower for Western Haralson County

Verizon Wireless customers west of Tallapoosa may soon get a boost in coverage. The mobile telecommunications giant has submitted plans to build a 250-foot self-support tower in the vicinity of US Highway 78 and J. Davis Road in western Haralson County. The proposal is currently up for public comment through mid-April. Engineering of the tower is being handled by the Trileaf Corporation out of Maitland, Florida.
