Those that frequent the Carroll County Agriculture Center off Newnan Road at the Bypass have noticed quite a few positive changes. In 2019 the Ag. Center received a new roof, complete exterior paint updates, ADA-compliant bathrooms; and now the centerpiece for fellowship and conversation has been constructed. The new covered pavilion will provide a place for visitors and farmers to grill out and enjoy conversation.
Carroll County Commission Chairwoman Michelle Morgan tells us, “We have been dressing up the building because the truth of the matter is we are an agriculture community. These ag. lands are producing our current and future food.
“The Ag. center is the most used building in the county. We are in the top five for poultry, beef, and cattle. It is one of the truest identities along with our historic courthouse.”
