Culinary Gem to Return to Villa Rica: Gabe’s Downtown Set to Open Doors this Fall

Excitement is building as Gabe’s  Downtown, a unique dining destination, prepares to reopen its doors in Villa Rica’s charming downtown district. The grand opening for the new location is set for late Fall, marking a significant moment for the community and the local economy.

The restaurant, to be located at 129 Main Street (formerly Uncorked on Main), promises to bring a fresh and vibrant culinary experience to the area. With a  menu that features locally sourced ingredients and a focus on contemporary Cajun cuisine, Gabe’s Downtown aims to once again become a beloved gathering spot for residents and visitors alike.

Gabe and Tami Toups, the visionaries behind Gabe’s Downtown, shared their  excitement about the opening: “Our goal with Gabe’s Downtown is to  recreate a place where people can enjoy delicious food and feel like part of a close-knit community. We’ve poured our hearts into crafting a menu and  atmosphere that reflects both our passion for food and our love for this town. Our dedicated team is passionate about what they do, and they are knowledgeable about all our offerings. We pride ourselves on serving the finest food in West Georgia, crafted with the freshest ingredients and  innovative preparation. Quality service in a professional yet friendly atmosphere is our hallmark.”

Mayor Leslie McPherson expressed enthusiasm about the return of Gabe’s:  “We are thrilled to welcome Gabe’s back to our downtown area. This  establishment not only enriches our local dining scene but also signals a new wave of economic vitality and community engagement. It’s a testament to the  continued commercial development happening right here in Villa Rica.”

The space, formerly a historic building housing Uncorked, has been  transformed through the efforts of brothers Dale and Dee Schwarzkopf, who will co-own the property. “Gabe’s represents a new chapter for this building  and for our downtown,” said Dale Schwarzkopf. “It’s wonderful to see such a  dynamic business move in and breathe new life into this space. I’m proud to  be part of this exciting development.”

Marisol Melendez, chair of the Villa Rica Downtown Development Authority,  who has been a key advocate for downtown revitalization, added, “This is a  significant milestone for our downtown development efforts. Gabe’s  Downtown aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering a vibrant and diverse  downtown district. It’s an important step forward in making our city a more  attractive and lively place for everyone.”

Carroll Tomorrow would like to thank the Villa Rica Development Authority, the Downtown Development Authority and the City of Villa Rica for their  efforts and support in bringing Gabe’s Downtown back to Villa Rica.
