Uptown brings its fusion of Motown soul, R&B and pop hits downtown to the Carrollton Center for the Arts, September 28 at 7:30pm.
“We’re so excited to welcome this amazing show to Carrollton,” said the arts center’s manager, Tim Chapman. “Uptown’s vocals, stage presence and choreography really get the audience on their feet, dancing and singing along.”
Uptown is a men’s vocal group from New York City. Their performances are a celebration of classic soul and R&B with a mix of Bruno Mars style stage presence and the vocals of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Each member of the collective is a soloist, bringing a unique flavor of performance.
