Bark Place Dog Spa to Provide Luxury Experience in Villa Rica

You know the trope: dog parents will do anything to give their pet the same level of care and love as their own child. In fact, West Georgia has seen a few stores dedicated just for dog care and accessories for over a decade. However, nothing quite like Bark Place Dog Spa. For those searching to pamper their pup to the next level, Bark Place will offer dog spa treatments, fur and hair care, and nail trimming that will leave your pup  and you  in a state of awe.

Expect your dog to receive specialized, one-on-one attention with Bark Place Dog Spa founder, owner, and “dogologist” Kara Lewis. Your canine will enjoy stepping – not dropping – into a roomy, medical-grade Waggz Tub equipped with gentle showering capabilities where they will be carefully washed and massaged for an unbelievably relaxing experience, putting your and your dog’s minds at ease. In addition to the tub, all of the spa’s equipment will be medical-grade, ensuring quality care and overall longevity.

At just 24 years of age, Lewis is building her first business from scratch. For years she saved up to rent a space in Villa Rica which can accommodate a one-of-a-kind experience your dog will drool for. As a dog groomer she has earned a reputation for meticulous care, undeniable consistency, and an inviting warmth when it comes to handling various animals – even horses and llamas! She prides herself in taking on larger dogs that others would not have been comfortable with managing.

“I’m taller, so larger dogs aren’t as difficult to handle for me!” Lewis laughs.

In all seriousness, Lewis’ talent came through years of learning from other groomers, researching grooming techniques, and even taking on extra work from home, giving dogs spas in her family’s garage, which further honed her skills into what they are today. About a year ago she set into motion her dream of owning and running her own professional dog spa, so she began scouting for the perfect spot to set up shop, which ended up being the former State Farm location in Villa Rica.

“I saw that building and thought to myself that it would be a great location, and it ended up working out,” Lewis shares.

She admits that spending large amounts of money to secure the business essentials has been painful at times, but she understands that providing the best service and experience requires

purchasing the best infrastructure and equipment. One standout feature will be Bark Place’s ability to receive all booking requests online. Lewis researched for the best software for their industry and is excited to see it in motion.

By visiting the website www.barkplacedogspa.com, customers can book an appointment, check in, and get notified as soon as their dog is all ready to go. All pups completing their spa treatment will be gifted a bow or bandana and a photo of their results on social media!

“I want to minimize the stress that comes with your dog being away from home for long periods,” Lewis states. “Our appointments ensure your dog will be seen in a timely manner.”
