Central High School Announces Don Bray as New Boys Basketball Coach

Central High School is proud to announce the hiring of Coach Don C. Bray as our new Head Boys Basketball Coach. A seasoned educator, mentor, and championship-caliber coach, Coach Bray brings with him a wealth of experience, leadership, and a proven track record of success both on and off the court.

Coach Bray most recently served as the Head Coach at Carrollton High School from 2020 to 2025, where he led his teams to four consecutive GHSA playoff appearances, including two Sweet 16 and two Elite Eight finishes. He was named Region Coach of the Year in both 2021–22 and 2022–23 and coached numerous athletes to All-Region and All-State honors.

Currently completing his Master’s Degree in Physical Education at Jacksonville State University, Coach Bray is also a proud Carrollton High School Hall of Fame inductee and a Hall of Fame football player from Northern Oklahoma A&M College. His decorated career includes multiple coaching roles across football and basketball, with a focus on player development, discipline, and building programs that emphasize both athletic and academic excellence.
