Eight Carrollton High School students — Monta Brown, Bradley Curtis, Noah Dietsch, Kris Frye, Jonavan Goodwin, Amir Lakes, Adrienne McGhee, and Ashton McKenzie — graduated from the Project SEARCH program on May 13.
Project SEARCH is an internship program that provides training, education, and workforce development for students with disabilities. Through Project SEARCH internships, students gain skills and work experience in various settings on the University of West Georgia campus. All interns are ServSafe, CPR, and PCI certified. Among the graduates, three interns were hired by UWG. The rest have interviewed with various businesses in the community and are eagerly awaiting job placement.
