Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is bringing its game-day energy and Louisiana-style flavor to Newnan, with a new location planned for Ashley Park’s Phase 3 development. Set to open between Mountain High Outfitters and SplatterDash, the restaurant will feature a rooftop space—offering a unique new hangout spot in one of Newnan’s busiest shopping and entertainment hubs.
Known for its scratch-made Cajun and American comfort food, Walk-On’s is a fast-growing sports bar concept that blends a lively atmosphere with a menu full of crowd-pleasers—from boudin balls to burgers and signature cocktails. The Newnan location is one of several planned in Georgia, including another in Athens, according to a manager at the existing West Cobb location.
As reported by ToneToAtl, Walk-On’s is also expanding to The Battery Atlanta this summer, signaling strong momentum for the brand across the state.
Construction hasn’t started yet at Ashley Park, but the space is ready, and the team expects to begin building it out soon. If all goes according to plan, the Newnan location could open within the next year, giving locals another go-to destination for sports, Southern eats, and rooftop vibes.
