There’s a new addition on the way to Thomas Crossroads—Waldo’s Chicken & Beer has officially put up signage at its upcoming Sharpsburg location, signaling that opening day is getting closer.
The restaurant is taking over the former KFC building at 3430 Highway 34 East. Construction has been moving steadily, and the new signage is a clear sign that Waldo’s is nearly ready to serve up its signature hot chicken and craft beer.
Originally announced in 2023, Waldo’s has gained a loyal following across the Southeast for its bold flavors, comfort food favorites, and relaxed atmosphere. Locals have been keeping an eye on the transformation and are looking forward to a new place to enjoy good food with friends and family.
Just down the road, Milano’s Pizza is also making progress—its signage has gone up as well, adding another spot to watch as the area continues to grow.
