Understanding Your VA Home Care Benefits

Join the Newnan Carnegie Library and Beth Dow, from Home Helpers, November 18th at 11:00am where she will be discussing the benefits available through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for home care, which can significantly enhance the quality of life for veterans. She will provide an overview of the Homemaker and Home Health Aide Program as well as the Aid and Attendance Benefit. Understanding these benefits helps the veteran and their families make informed decisions about home care options.

“This subject matter is a very important one that many veterans and their families face as they age. Therefore, this event is a great way to gather information in terms of awareness and preparedness with home care benefits that can help you or someone you know with this transition in life in a content, secure, and successful way,” says Jessica Dunnington, the Newnan Carnegie Library Program Associate.

Online registration is required for this event, so please visit the Newnan Carnegie Library website calendar page to sign up.
