The Greater Haralson Chamber joined Infra-Metals in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest facility, located at 916 Infra-Metals Way in Buchanan, Ga. Held on Oct. 29, the event marked a significant milestone for both the company and the local community.
The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a site tour and a complimentary lunch. The celebration provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Infra-Metals’ expansion efforts and the company’s ongoing commitment to the community. The new facility is expected to enhance local infrastructure and contribute to the economic growth of the area by providing job opportunities and supporting the growing demand for high-quality materials.
“We were proud to celebrate the opening of Infra-Metals’ newest location in Buchanan,” said Gary Broadstreet, Chairman of the Haralson County Development Authority. “This new facility will not only serve the needs of the local community but also strengthen the region’s role in the national infrastructure and construction sectors.”

Located just 60 miles west of Atlanta, the 100-acre Buchanan site features 270,000 square feet of indoor storage and an additional 88,000 square feet of outdoor space. This strategic location enhances Infra-Metals’ ability to serve customers in the Southeastern United States efficiently. The facility offers a diverse inventory of carbon structural materials, including beams, tubes, plates, and merchant bar products, along with first-stage processing services such as CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting, drilling, blasting, painting, and saw cutting.
The new facility employs approximately 100 individuals, contributing to local job growth and economic development. Infra-Metals Buchanan is poised to become a key player in the region’s industrial landscape, supporting the growing demand for high-quality materials in infrastructure and construction projects.
