A new Mexican restaurant is already making an impression in Grantville. Maya Taqueria, located at 24 Main St., officially opened on April 19 in the downtown district, and the response was strong with a packed house when we stopped by to check it out.
To celebrate opening day, the first 30 tables received a free cheese dip, helping bring in an early crowd eager to try the new spot. Maya Taqueria also recently received approval for an alcohol license, adding margaritas, sangria, Mexican beer, and other drink selections to the menu.
The menu features a wide range of favorites including tacos, tortas, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas, fajitas, and chilaquiles. Specialty dishes include camarones a la diabla, carne asada, pollo con crema, and carnitas. Guests can also choose from desserts like flan, churros, and sopapillas.
With dine-in and takeout available, Maya Taqueria is bringing fresh energy and plenty of flavor to Main Street as word continues to spread about Grantville’s newest restaurant.
