Big changes continue to take shape at the Shops at Millard in Newnan, where construction is now underway on the redevelopment project anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market. While newly released leasing materials list a “Summer 2026” opening timeframe, sources connected to the Peachtree City Sprouts location indicate the Newnan store could realistically open closer to Fall 2026. So we shall see!
The shopping center, located at 19 Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard, is being rebranded as Sprouts at Millard Shops and will bring the first Sprouts Farmers Market to Coweta County. We originally reported plans for the redevelopment back in August 2024, and momentum is now clearly building as site work progresses.
According to updated leasing information, the center will feature Sprouts Farmers Market as its anchor tenant alongside several additional retailers and service businesses, including Lush Nail Bar. The leasing flyer also confirms that both shop space delivery and the estimated Sprouts opening are currently targeted for Summer 2026.
The approximately 23,256-square-foot Sprouts will occupy a central location within the redeveloped center. Meanwhile, the former One Life Fitness Express space is being subdivided into multiple smaller storefronts designed to attract restaurants, boutiques, and service-oriented tenants.
Not everything at the center is new, however. Plato’s Closet and Once Upon A Child both relocated within the property earlier this year and continue operating as normal during construction. The two stores remain key tenants at the center and are prominently featured in updated site plans released by leasing representatives.
The latest site plans also show Lush Nail Bar joining the tenant lineup, adding another new business to the evolving retail mix. Several additional shop spaces remain available as leasing efforts continue.
Sprouts Farmers Market, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, first entered the metro Atlanta market in 2014 and has steadily expanded across Georgia. The Newnan location will fill a longstanding demand for a dedicated natural and organic grocer in Coweta County, with the nearest current location operating in Peachtree City.
