Crumbl Refreshes Its Focus in Coweta with Ashley Park Expansion and Upcoming Dirty Soda Launch

After nearly five years serving Coweta County with multiple locations, local Crumbl franchise owners David and Aleisa Bayne are entering a new chapter focused on growth, customer experience, and stronger community connection.

On April 29, the couple officially closed the original Newnan Crumbl location at Coweta Crossing. While the decision was emotional, they say it allows them to fully focus their energy and investment on the Ashley Park and Peachtree City stores.

“April 29 was our final day operating the original Newnan location,” David Bayne said. “That store meant a lot to us because it was the first one we opened. But over time, it became clear the two nearby locations were serving much of the same customer base.”

David and Aleisa opened all three of their Crumbl locations within the same year nearly five years ago. With the Newnan and Ashley Park stores located only a few miles apart, consolidating operations became the best long-term path for growth, consistency, and customer experience.

Their focus is now centered on the Ashley Park location near Target and Boot Barn, where customers are already noticing significant updates.

“We’ve refreshed the entire experience at Ashley Park,” Bayne said. “From operations to the atmosphere and updated branding, we wanted to create a place that feels energetic, welcoming, and consistent every time someone walks through the door.”

The updated store features refreshed interior and exterior graphics, operational improvements, and a renewed emphasis on hospitality and customer service.

The franchise owners are also preparing for Crumbl’s next major rollout: Dirty Sodas.

The customized soda beverages — featuring specialty syrups, flavor combinations, and unique recipes — are expected to launch at both the Ashley Park and Peachtree City locations later this summer.

“It’s much more than traditional soda,” Bayne said. “There are custom mixes and flavors that really create a fun experience for customers.”

Construction is already underway at both stores to prepare for the launch, including new equipment and updated serving areas.

While the transition marks the end of one chapter, the couple says their commitment to Coweta and Fayette counties remains stronger than ever.

“We’re incredibly thankful for the support this community has given us over the past five years,” Bayne said. “We plan to continue investing in Ashley Park and Peachtree City for many years to come.”

The couple also emphasized that while Crumbl is a nationally recognized brand, each location is locally owned and operated.

“My wife and I have poured everything we have into these businesses,” Bayne said. “When people support our stores, they’re supporting local owners, local employees, and local families.”

In addition to operating their Crumbl locations, David and Aleisa support several local organizations and community initiatives, including Backstreet Arts. “That’s a program people should get behind!”

For the couple, the refreshed Ashley Park location represents more than a business decision — it reflects a renewed commitment to creating an experience customers genuinely enjoy.

“We want people to feel excited when they come in,” Bayne said. “Whether it’s cookies, desserts, or the new Dirty Soda experience, we want every visit to feel fun, welcoming, and memorable.”
