Dirty South Sips to Open First Brick-and-Mortar Location in Tallapoosa

After spending the past year serving creative specialty drinks from a mobile cart at pop-up events across West Georgia, Dirty South Sips is preparing for its biggest milestone yet. The popular drink business will soon open its first brick-and-mortar location at 119 Head Avenue in Tallapoosa, the former home of Tallapoosa Nutrition.

The owner, Ansley Goodwin announced the exciting news on Facebook, writing, “SURPRISE!!!! Coming soon to Tallapoosa!!!!! We can not wait and of course I’m bringing y’all on this incredible journey. We will be adding some amazing things so be prepared.”

Dirty South Sips has earned a loyal following by bringing its menu of non-alcoholic specialty dirty sodas, refreshers, and energy drinks with Southern flair to communities throughout West Georgia. From Tractor Supply stores and Walmart parking lots to farmers markets, festivals, and other local events, customers have lined up to try the business’s unique drink creations. The business is also available for private event bookings.

The move to a permanent storefront is especially meaningful for the owner, who reflected on the journey in another Facebook post.

“I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support I was shown. I truly didn’t expect it. To think, just a year ago I was setting up my little tent at Tractor Supply… and now this. Y’all have stuck by me through every weird concoction and let me pour my unique ideas into this business—and that means everything to me.”

She says opening a storefront isn’t the finish line, it’s just the beginning.

“With that being said, we’re not slowing down. We’re going to keep growing, keep creating, and keep bringing y’all drinks you’ve probably never tried before, new flavors, new experiences.”

The owner also hopes to expand the menu in the future by adding boba tea and other international drink favorites, giving customers even more unique options to enjoy.

Dirty South Sips has become known for its fun and creative menu featuring drinks like Blue Collar Fuel, Dixie Lane, Caramel Apple, Coastal Cutie, The Aquarium, Cheesecake Cutie, Southern Dream, Pink Skies, Beach Front, and Countryside. The menu includes dirty sodas, refreshers, Red Bull energy drinks, sparkling waters, and kid-friendly creations, many topped with cold foam, fruit purées, candy, and other specialty ingredients.

After traveling throughout West Georgia with pop-up events, Dirty South Sips is now putting down roots in Tallapoosa. The new storefront will give customers a permanent place to enjoy the creative drinks that have made the business a local favorite while allowing the owner to continue growing and introducing new flavors and experiences.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. For updates on the grand opening and new menu items, follow Dirty South Sips on Facebook.
