A new FedEx location appears to be coming to Peachtree City, with the company set to occupy the former Stanton Optical space at McIntosh Village.
We stopped by the upcoming location and saw a construction permit posted at the storefront, along with interior renovation work underway inside the former Stanton Optical space. Workers on site also confirmed that FedEx is the incoming tenant.
While specific details about the Peachtree City location have not yet been announced, the store could potentially operate as a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center. FedEx Office locations typically offer services such as shipping, printing, copying, document services, package pickup and drop-off, and other business-related solutions.
The Peachtree City location is not the only new FedEx operation planned for the area. Another FedEx is also expected to open in Newnan at Newnan Promenade, taking over approximately 2,500 square feet of space formerly occupied by Capital Tacos and, before that, Moe’s Southwest Grill.
Marketing materials for Newnan Promenade identify FedEx as the future tenant for that storefront, adding another upcoming location along the region’s growing retail corridors.
With construction and interior renovations now underway in Peachtree City, the project appears to be moving forward, although an official opening date has not yet been announced.
