Construction appears to be getting underway on the new Taco Bell planned for the Arbor Springs area in northern Coweta County.
Over the weekend, a permit box was spotted at the future restaurant site, and gravel was being added to the property where construction is expected to take place. The activity is one of the clearest signs yet that work is beginning on the long-planned Taco Bell just off Highway 29.
The Taco Bell is planned for a lot near Arbor Springs Plaza and adjacent to the site of a future Wendy’s. Plans for the Taco Bell had previously been submitted to Coweta County Community Development, and the property has been marketed by Crossman & Company.
Meanwhile, Wendy’s is still expected to join the development as well, although an estimated construction start or opening date has yet to surface. Plans for the Wendy’s remain in the Coweta County system, indicating the project is still on the books.
The addition of Taco Bell and the planned Wendy’s will bring two more major fast-food options to the growing Arbor Springs area along Highway 29.
The City Menus will continue monitoring both projects and will share additional updates as construction progresses and more information becomes available.
