The annual Small Packages gift exhibit, featuring works that fit in a gift box, returns to the Carrollton Center for the Arts, November 2 – December 14.
The exhibit showcases artwork by members of the Carrollton Artist Guild, offering carefully crafted small pieces for collecting and gifting. Books, poems and other writings from Carrollton Writers Guild members will also be available. Holiday shoppers can buy original artwork at the exhibit and purchased works can be taken home immediately, allowing the exhibition to continually refresh with new additions.
“This is a fun show,” said Visual Arts Coordinator Marcella Kuykendall. “You never know what artists will select to present, so it’s always an adventure in holiday shopping.”
Also on display at the center during this time is the Real People, Real Stories exhibit. A reception for both exhibits will be held November 5, 5pm – 7pm.
