The Friends of the City Cemeteries continued working on a Beautification Project at Garden of Rest Cemetery last week. Volunteers created a garden in front of the cemetery sign and at the back of the cemetery. The cemetery is located on Brooks Road off of Thomas Dorsey Drive.
Their next project will be at Hillcrest Cemetery and will begin on Thursday, Oct 22 @ 10 am and Friday, Oct 23 at 10 am, if needed.
