My name is Chase Tibbitts. I grew up in a cliche, one red-light, small town in West Georgia. I am lucky to come from a very talented family. You can either sing or play some kind of instrument. Music was always heard and played in my house. My dad played guitar and sang in a bluegrass band, as did my uncle, but my granddad is where we got it from. He would have his kids sitting on his knee humming harmony notes before they could even speak. I started learning music in the 5th grade when I learned to play the saxophone. That’s where I learned to read music. From there I tried my hand at drums but that wasn’t enough for me. Once we got older, me and my cousins gave it our try at a gospel bluegrass band. They all played guitar so I learned to play bass. After learning the bass is when I really had a passion for music. I wanted a bigger role in music, so I finally learned guitar and that’s where my solo career comes in. I always loved music and I loved to sing but I didn’t think of it as a career until college when I joined the choir. I got a scholarship and sang bass in the show choir. Here I had the privilege of performing at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. From there I just started playing and singing everything I could. Jump forward a few years and I won a karaoke contest that gave me a recording session in Nashville. There, I made my first CD! It was a cover CD but a CD nonetheless. I’ve moved back home and been doing the solo thing for a couple of years now, but recently I just started a band and let me tell you I have never had more fun in my life. We play anything from classic rock to country and even some blues! I’ve signed with an independent label and hired a manager all in the last 6 months. Things have really started to take off!! We are looking at releasing my first single and EP very soon. I feel like this journey is just beginning and I am so excited to see where it takes me!!
