Ferst Fashion Show

The Ferst Readers addresses the problem of children from our communities entering kindergarten without basic early learning skills for school readiness, a preventable problem that has far-reaching impacts throughout students’ lives. The Ferst Readers’ recipe for early school success is simple: encouraging early literacy development by ensuring that children have age-appropriate books in their home and providing parents with supportive materials that teach the importance of early learning and encourage them to read frequently with their children.
