Preserving Your Family Treasures

Do you have family heirlooms that you are not sure how to protect or display? Come join us at the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum on Friday, November 10 from 1-3pm to learn the basics of preserving your family treasures. Dr. Mark Janzen, Director of the Center for Public History at the University of West Georgia, will be presenting the program. The presentation will be open to the public at no cost. Attendees are welcome to bring items for specific advice.

This is a general program that will cover textiles, documents, photographs, and other common family heirloom materials. It will not include information on dating items or value.
