The Sunbelt Jazz Festival

On April 13 the University of West Georgia Jazz Ensemble brings you the 34^th annual Sunbelt Jazz Festival at an exciting new locale: the AMP at Adamson Square, nestled on the edge of Carrollton’s charming downtown. The festival is headlined by Russell Gunn and the Royal Krunk Jazz Orchestra, whose 2018 release was described by Downbeat Magazine as “an organic, beautiful vision of what modern music can be.” You’ll also catch the Kevin Bales Group, the University of West Georgia Jazz Ensemble, and talented student bands from the area. Parking and admission are free; music from 4-9 p.m. Pack a lawn chair and a cooler, find a spot in the covered amphitheater, and spend the evening taking in top-shelf jazz in a beautiful outdoor setting!
