Women Empowering Women: Know Your Worth

WHAT: Once again, UWG’s Richards College of Business is partnering with Tanner Health System and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Business Alliance to offer a one-of-kind event to women in the community. This year’s theme for Women Empowering Women is “Know Your Worth” and will address issues women face in finding value in themselves and communicating their value to others.

WHEN: Friday, Sept. 21. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: The Burson Center. 500 Old Bremen Road; Carrollton, GA; 30117.

WHO: Women who are leaders in the community will join the panel this year, including UWG Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Dr. N. Jane McCandless, who created UWG’s women’s studies program; owner of three businesses, including two Anytime Fitness locations, Alicia Hill; and Vice President of Human Resources Shared Services at Southwire LLC, Wendy Lucio.
