A small business favorite has chosen Carrollton as the fourth location to open their next business. Otter’s Chicken is set to open in the former Moe’s BBQ location, located next to the AMP at 202 Bradley Street @ Hudson Mill.

I was born and raised in Carrollton, and I love how the community is involved in everything that goes on in the town. Otter’s Chicken as a whole gives back to the community and gets involved with the local schools. Otter’s Chicken is a fast-casual, family dining experience that emphasizes fresh (not frozen) chicken, served in a variety of ways,” said Otter’s Chicken owner and operator Hannah Shadrix.

In 2017 Otter’s Chicken was selected as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. This is was the fourth year in a row that they have received that particular award.

Among Otter’s Chicken’s programs to give back to their local communities, they have worked with the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, as well as hosted various spirit nights to support local high schools.

We hope to create a strong relationship with the residents of Carrollton and use the success of our business to make a positive impact on the community and its youth,” says Shadrix.

Otter’s Chicken is expected to open on September 1. The location’s hours of operation will be Sunday – Thursday from 11:00 A.M. – 9:00 P.M. and Friday – Saturday from 11:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.
