Underground Books “Affordable reads, free thinking” is a small used bookstore just off of Adamson Square that specializes in rare, unique, interesting, odd, or antiquarian texts. They opened in March 2011 and Josh, the owner of the store, has decided it is time to expand. The space located next to them used to be occupied by the Blue Heron Art Studio. After the studio moved out, Underground Books decided this would be the perfect opportunity to expand and begin the project. The spaces are connected internally and Josh has been working to reopen the connection to allow easy access to the new part of the store. The store is planning their 2 Year Anniversary Party & Open House with live music and refreshments on Sunday, April 7th. They hope to have most of the finishing touches on the new space by then.
